Writing is tough! I think the greatest thing a person can do in helping them become a better verbal communicator is to work harder and more intentionally at writing. It doesn’t stop there, that is if you want to become a better writer - to become a better writer one must become a more diligent reader (reading good books, journals, and articles).
So, if you want to speak well, write well; if you desire to write well, read well.
In view of that…
A writer is someone for whom writing is harder than it is for other people… Len Sweet
As the old saying goes: Writing is easy. You just stare at a blank page until drops of blood form on your forehead. – Marshall Shelley
Peace.

Ok let’s try this again!
Great post. Writing is tough, especially when you have to do it more and more. I usually find myself writing for a few freelance jobs, for the ministry, and then in my freetime… and I really need to take breaks to keep going!
I wanted to let you know about a resource library we just launched for youth pastors. Would love it if you might be interesting in contributing some of your writing–or maybe some blog posts you’ve already written?
It’s located here: http://www.calledtoyouthministry.com/resources
You can just log in to contribute if you’re interested.
Let me know–blessings!!
Being inspired by a certain moment or experience to write is what catapults my creative imagination..I think you’re definitely right in regards to reading actually developing you as a writer and in turn verbal communicator. It’s kind of like music in that it can be so diverse and form this influenced personal form of writing..cool post..
