heard about blog rush?

Today I added a sidebar widget for Blog Rush (scroll down it is the last item on the right side of this blog). The claim (which I will report on) is that this “blog syndication” will increase readership for a blog.

Blog Rush

I would love more folks to read what I got to say… so I will see if this does anything to increase the volume of folks who stop by…

One can hope.

I have been watching this service for the last few days since it was released, but I hate to lose control of the outgoing links from my blog. For example, this is the very first link Blog Rush sent me to from Perigrinatio:

    http://blog.audiogettingrichscience.com/think-and-grow-rich-what-do-you-want-the-most/

It’s not a link that I would particularly care to send my readers to, but then, perhaps some of the readers at that blog would come back my way, and I would have a chance to interact with them. I would just have to trust that my readers were discerning enough to know that I did not endorse all the sites showing up in my Blog Rush widget.

I will be interested in seeing how it works out for you.

Yes - I was concerned about it as well - yet having faith in our readers I guess is part of it - excellent point.

I stipulated that my topic was “religion and spirituality” - I don’t see how that one has much to do with it?

I will watch it - 3 out of 5 were definitely about at least the topic.

I will ditch it if it just turns out to be garbage.

For me, I have to be able to control where people get from my blog, too many just wouldn’t get it (also meaning I am more careful on my blog than I am even in person with what I say about stuff).

I don’t want to accidentally cause controversey.

btw, I see you have “Simply Christian” on your planned books list. imho, read it quickly, not because it’s great, but because it’s not quite the latter day “mere Christianity” that some have said it is and only deserves so much of your time (The Challenge of Jesus I loved… this one I didn’t as much…). (my opinion only) It would be a great recommendation for someone who is more intelligent that wants to dive into those things, but it’s language is far from “simple”… so the title is… well… problematic. I’m glad I read it… but wouldn’t read it twice, put it that way.

way too many ellipses… sorry… (too many parentheticals, too…)
    ;-)
